Such a shame that, despite lots of posts to the school's parents' fb page, the parents still wanted to to mark the end of Year 6 with a balloon release. School banned the release from the school grounds so they did it in the park. How do we get it across to them?

Do you ever wonder where the balloons you release or used water bombs go? There were loads in the wee park by my work today...

Found on Mullach Mor, Rum. Looks chewed, probably by a deer. We wish people would not release balloons like this as they can harm animals.

・・・ Lifeguard Brad is sad about this fad. The last time you see your balloons may be when they’re floating off into the sky, but the next time we see them is when they’re…

I love your awareness on latex , especially balloons. People dont take this seriously. We had to cancel a cruise with because they refused to accommodate my son with a severe latex allergy. .

You might think it's harmless fun but I've just had to pull a 5ft birthday balloon out of the mouth of a choking calf. The message written on the balloon ended 'whoever gets this, share on social media'.

Glad you found it in time. Unfortunately we had one in the PM room recently. String in oesophagus and balloon in rumen. Balloon was anchored in place at opening to oesophagus, bullock was unable to burp gas from rumen, led to bloat and death.

increase in severity and frequency with repeated exposure. By filling your business with latex balloons, you are not only preventing those with allergies from shopping at your store, you are placing your employees at risk.

This month I conducted remote fieldwork in , 1150km from ! Sadly, I also managed to find a mylar balloon in the middle of nowhere. We can have a huge impact in places we've never set foot - let's strive to make that impact a positive one!

Dear parents, and us ask to stop buying and releasing balloons, they DO NOT go to heaven, they kill animals and trash the earth and can start a fire on powerlines, please don't buy them, helium is for medical supplies, NOT BALLOONS!!!
