You don’t know that to be true.

when a candidate has been running non-stop, for 4 years on the campaign trail, and is still behind his 2016 numbers ... especially with the base ... he has a serious problem. the thing is - bernie has yet to be fully vetted or hard challenged by the media ----- yet.

This is so important. The reason the Senate is red, is the South. If the South can swing some Senate elections blue, Dems take the Senate. No independent or old school repub I know will vote Bern. Many will vote Biden over trump.
-
Incorrect it was the Koch’s brothers Red Map and the DNC’s weak nominee in 2016 that got us Trump. The FDR way out of this mess is with

Biden isn’t going to inspire young people to turn out in the record numbers we need, nor will he get 2016 non-voters engaged. A progressive candidate will. Biden’s a great man but he doesn’t meet the moment.

The young people I work with, very diverse racially and economically (from working class to very wealthy), all say they will vote blue no matter who because they know that getting the lunatic out of office is the most important thing.

This argument bears repeating over and over. Only Joe can carry the Ds to senate majority. The road runs through red and purple states. D candidates would run away from a Bernie or Liz platform.
