Hey James, mind sharing a few example video URLs for us to look into? Just checked a sample of your videos and they were all monetizing both before and after manual reviews (so always had a green icon). Really appreciate the examples so we can better understand what's happening!

Why are they being reviewed if they were never demonetized, my channel

has always been 100% advertiser friendly. Also, it doesn't matter that they passed before and after, because you guys know that when a video is under review, not all ads will be served on the videos, especially premium ads, meaning i've now lost a HUGE chunk of my monthly income

on these 3 videos all in a row when there was absolutely nothing wrong with them to begin with. I understand it's how the algorithm works but reviews should be fast and your top creators especially should be prioritized. I would really appreciate if my team could hop on the phone

Many many thanks for the examples! First, confirming that these videos have *always* been monetizing with a green icon, meaning there is no revenue lost. The emails you received are super confusing (so sorry about that!) and not related to reviews during the appeals process.

Re: emails you received–we spot check videos (even monetizing ones!) as part of regular YPP reviews to make sure the $ status is correct. So even if you don't request a review yourself, a video may be reviewed and a corresponding email sent confirming the outcome of the review.

In your case, all of these videos were green/monetizing. They were also manually reviewed and the review team simply confirmed they had the correct status and should be green/monetizing. You then received the emails, confusing things.

Again, really sorry these emails caused so much confusion! We've heard this from other creators recently too and working on fixing the email situation. Will also check in on the YouTube rep and see what we can find out for you
