Group think - “Orange man bad”
-
Um. He is bad though

Did it ever occur to you that sometimes an opinion is mainstream because it is correct and logical?
-
Can you articulate with your own thoughts on why you dislike orange man? If you can, you're not an NPC. If all you can do is repeat vague media talking points, then you might want to reflect on your own critical thinking shortcomings.
-

Non-Player Character is only capable of repeating pre-determined lines because it is not a human. Calling a person an NPC implies that that person is only capable or repeating arguments put in his head by someone else without understanding or innovation.
