Apparent contradiction: - reported duration of novel stimuli longer than conditioned stimuli - time crawls by when you're bored
My guess- if subjects incentivized to give *correct* time estimates, difference disappears. Latter is serving emotional need

incentivizing is interesting q tho- could correct stopped clock illusion, but only b/c of strong prior that clock is correct
