I'm pretty sure that if/when I make a PL, property access, functions, methods, and index accesses will have the same syntax.

I sometimes wonder what it'd be like to never have to wonder, e.g. "shouldn't I make X and Y's signatures match?"

reducing all APIs to magic numbers is likely going too far, but magic numbers force a different, maybe good, kind of use
