I'm continually inspired by Justice Sotomayor's courage and integrity. I'm perpetually appreciative of her supportive words at my inauguration just over a year ago.https://twitter.com/chesaboudin/status/1215499535385890816 …

I am very grateful for Chesa Boudin! Sotomayer says it well, intelligently, with grace and power. We need intelligence (not the reactionary low level tea-party-esque critiques). Thank you for tweeting this and keep up the great work! Stay with it and with us. We need you Chesa!

Judah, I don’t mean to be smug. Folks are holding Chesa Boudin to a higher standard than any other DA. I’m learning that the opinions expressed on Twitter don’t foster responsible discussion. The criticisms of Chesa Boudin are based in faulty logic or just flat out incorrect.

Hi Judah. If you believe these things, which are not true, certainly not my experience or understanding, certainly not more true now than 2 yrs ago, there’s no explaining that will convince you. My BFF advised me that these twit threads are addictive and change no one’s mind.

Offering one more opp to listen and read. Important not to confuse a feeling (of not being safe) with the facts for the entire city. Important to understand that criminal justice reforms do create a safer city. I live in SF, was born here, and I feel safe.
