i have a lot of resentment around ITG. i considered it aesthetically inferior to DDR, and didn't play at all after customs became the norm

Have you seen Simply Love lately? The recent builds of it added a "Rainbow Mode" that I like a lot, where the background image is constantly cycling through colors, a-la some versions of DDR.
