anyone else find Persona 5's crummy localization kinda charming? like, it's stilted, awkward and oddly worded… just like P4, a game i loved
big shoutout to P5's VAs, who do an admirable job trying to make this dialogue sound like anything that would ever come out of a human mouth

the guy who voices ryuji is incredible. the character seems so real. many steps above any other character in the game

Most of the VA is great but there's a line delivery of "how reckless!" by a doctor in a dramatic cutscene that made me burst out laughing

Yeah, it's awkward at times, but sometimes I'm like "haha, yeah, you try to make that work" Also some of the gift items just make no sense
