big shoutout to P5's VAs, who do an admirable job trying to make this dialogue sound like anything that would ever come out of a human mouth
anyone else find Persona 5's crummy localization kinda charming? like, it's stilted, awkward and oddly worded… just like P4, a game i loved

Ive been playing with japanese v/o and it feels like a pretty standard just ok subtitle job which is fine by me

THOUGH there are some non v/o'ed side scenes that are just 100% garbled google translate shit like woah is this a ps1 game or something

I don't find it that noticeable but then it's styled like an anime and I've seen plenty of anime with wonky localisation so maybe I'm immune
