a friend tried to plug my MacBook's USB-C charger into her iPhone this weekend, which speaks to how absurd it is they aren't unified yet
they cropped the top half out (presumably because it's embarrassing), but these are are lightning, not USB-C. so… two more Apple adapters…

to be fair these adapters have been around since the original iPad (refreshed to support USB 3 a couple of years ago)

it's just maddening to me that they moved MacBooks to USB-C but still won't do it for iPhone/iPad. they can't even be stubborn consistently
