I would imagine that all 3DS announcements would be games brought over from Japan or things already finishing development.

Theyre playing it safe. If the Switch fails they bail out “oh no it was never meant to replace”. Opposite if it succeeds.

It's a very Nintendo thing to do. If they dumped all of their 3DS and traditional console series on one platform, it succeeds.
