OK, lemme recontexualize this for normies: imagine Game of Thrones or whatever is airing 3 months early in the UK, and you pay for HBO Go.

If you're telling me you'd actually to sit there patiently for 3 months while Game of Thrones gets spoiled for you on Twitter, you're lying.

Adding this to the thread, since I'm very tired of explaining it: Netflix is uploading Little Witch Academia weekly in Japan, but not here.

If you're a paying Netflix member and you're still gonna wait months to watch LWA: good for you! I'm sure Netflix is very, very proud of you

But to equate downloading a show I'm paying for to old-fashioned "I don't feel like paying" piracy is disingenuous. Please miss me with that

(That said: I think anyone who downloads LWA early should also try support it by legal means, including rewatching it once it's out here!)

I mostly agree with you but feel it's counter productive to actively tweet about the ways you are getting around having to wait
