god i totally forgot how horrible Mario Kart 8's split-screen framerate is

I think it's because you're used to 30 FPS in Mario Kart and it throws you off. At least, that's how I've always thought of it.
i used to think that too, but we just opened a new copy of MK8 and went straight into MP and it still felt super weird
