well-done motion blur can go a long way to making 30fps feel smoother; possibly Forza has it and MK8 doesn’t?

Apparently it doesn't drop framerate on the switch during splitscreen. That's honestly more exciting to me than battle mode.

I usually don't notice whether something is 60 or 30 FPS, but for some reason the difference is night and day in MK8 for me

Maybe because the UI still updates at 60FPS, which might contrast weird for you?
