just noticed that my top 10 games of the year list has zero Nintendo games on it this year

do you generally give up on Pokémon games early or did you just not vibe with this release?
i give every modern Pokemon game a honest shot and always end up wearying of them super quick

it's usually a battle for me to keep interest in the story/plot since they made every one friendly and soft

I miss rivals that actually made me want to defeat them, not overly friendly nuisances
