if you're a Switch owner considering buying a Switch Lite, don't! there is currently no good way to have 2 switches (one to use communally on the TV, and one for offline portable play) – the way Nintendo set it up is fundamentally broken
to make the Switch Lite portable, you MUST make it your 'primary' or games won't work offline to make your old Switch the family TV console, you MUST make it your 'primary' or no other users (family, roomies, etc) can access games but you can only have 1 primary lol nintendo
What if you are wanting to buy a switch and don’t have one but you aren’t going to dock it??
i'm talking specifically about Switch owners who think buying a Switch Lite will be a nice, convenient upgrade – owning 2 is a huge hassle, and literally a worse experience than just owning 1
but it comes in pretty colors

i actually dont have a problem with using both i have my docked switch for offline games and my switch lite for mario maker and animal crossing

the only thibg its good for is to get for little siblings who are always on their ipads and not playing games on the tv
Unless you're interested in the homebrew scene, I really don't see why you'd wanna own more than one Switch.
