      Dorky question for streaming dorks: Should I use Nvidia's NVENC encoder or x264 while streaming w/OBS Studio? CPU = i7 9700k, GPU = RTX Super 2080.

      it depends a lot on the bitrate! if you're streaming above ~6000 kbps, i'd say use NVENC; it looks really good when you get to numbers that high

      hmmm i'm streaming right AT 6000 kbps. But general consensus seems to be NVENC? I guess i can experiment w/both! and thx. :)
