      strange. try changing around the SSAA video settings a bit and see what happens.

      i was actually running it without any antialiasing and it STILL looked like that! turning MSAA on and off doesn't seem to change anything with the text bitmaps

          SSAA, not MSAA. msaa is generally better for textures while ssaa does funky edge things
