@Aubron yeah, both videos will be comin' outta Premiere with the exact same settings... is this still a bad idea if that's the case?
(i'm sliding in an extra 30-second clip near the end but BEFORE the annotation end slate, so it's sadly not just straightforward concatenation)

Those commands, replacing input1.mp4 and input2.mp4 with the actual file names, should do the thing. I was thinking of a different encoding standard.

youtube allows you to add outros or intros to your videos by using the youtube editor, so you can try that if the 30 second clip is at the start or end
