the only way to sustain outrage is by pretending a voting body of anonymous people picking their favorite movies could somehow ever produce a perfect cross-section of representation. it could never happen! statistically, there will *always* be snubs
i sincerely believe 70% of the people complaining on here think it's like... a group of people in a sitting room choosing something together and then announcing it
