I’m glad for this, it’ll be cool to see a game a lot of people hated get a second chance to be better and even great, rather then remaking the first two and having people nitpick why the remakes aren’t as good as the original

Man, Banana Blitz wasn't *that* bad... Most peoples' gripe with it was the motion controls, but it looks like they're not gonna be forcing them since it's on PC as well. I just hope the party games will at least be better, but not getting my hopes up if it's just a straight port

Well, Banana Blitz mainly suffered from the motion controls and since this version is probably not going to use motion controls anymore. That alone makes me think it can be redeemed.

Even the most optimistic part of my brain is saying this is just them testing the waters to see if a demand is there before actually putting any money into developing a new title.

Odd that they didn't hit three one after the other, they should figure the IP has the weight for it; But doing anything other than exactly what you said isn't exactly a sound proposition for trying to get funding rolling.
