What should they have called it then? 'Can't Switch'?

if anything, "Switch Lite" is more accurate than "DS Lite", as the Switch Lite removes various features from the original Switch, while the DS Lite still had all the features of the original DS

It works for both. Lite/light can mean “short of” or “less than”, it doesn’t indicate WHAT that is though. In Switch's case it’s features, in DS’ case it’s size and weight, making it physically lighter.

What's more funny is the name "Switch" doesn't hold true anymore lol. Nintendo is going to make all the money.

Lite was used for awhile to describe something that isn’t full (I mainly remember it on the App Store)
