Is it just me or are Ultimate replays from 3.0 still accessible in 3.1?

I can still view my replays. The official update notes read 'There may be compatibility issues with replays from 3.0 and 3.1, replays from 2.0.2 or earlier are not compatible'. So I guess they're now trying to preserve some of the replay data from earlier versions?
