jokes aside, i think there's a 100% chance Nintendo releases a "multiplayer with friends" update to Mario Maker 2 Mario Maker got over 15 updates, adding Super Expert mode, checkpoint flags, event courses, keys / locked doors, red coins, the Bookmark site, etc. it's a no-brainer

it's possible that this is from some weird misguided desire to prevent predatory behaviour on the platform. isn't that why nintendo doesn't allow people to do any of the normal online things? if that's why then i doubt they'll change their mind
