cannot for the life of me figure out how Mario Maker 2 is gonna handle Luigi's movement physics. will there be Luigi-specific levels, or separate leaderboards? how will the validation process for uploading courses work? what if a level is only beatable by Luigi, but not Mario?

I'm sure if Luigi is implemented, you'll have the choice to give the players Mario or Luigi, and if Luigi has his own properties, that's your problem when designing a level.

Yeah I doubt they'd complicate it that way plus having people worry about specific character properties when designing levels would be bad. (Also i am in that conversation on discord!)
