here's my theory: the son gave the VR headset to the mom because he wanted to film a funny video of her driving while wearing it. the mom was NOT into the idea from the start, but the son kept trying to persuade her to participate in this terrible idea

at some point, the son definitely said something like "don't worry, Mom, it'll only take a second - and i'll even steer the car for you, so it won't be unsafe!", at which point she begrudgingly agreed to 'do it for the vine'

this is why the first thing we hear her say is "you motherfucker" - the mom HATED this premise and knew it was stupid from the start, so it inevitably goes south, she's almost as mad at herself as she is at her dipshit son

listen closely: when she says "you had the fuckin wheel, yeah, junior?" it's as though she's directly quoting something he said back to him sarcastically the last thing Junior said before the crash was likely something along the lines of "don't worry, Mom! i've got the wheel!"

Re: "why does she get SO angry SO fast?" i suspect this kid is the type who constantly films himself pranking his mom in stupid (and even dangerous) ways to make viral content her immediate visceral thought after impact could very well have been "he made me crash intentionally"
