Re: "why does she get SO angry SO fast?" i suspect this kid is the type who constantly films himself pranking his mom in stupid (and even dangerous) ways to make viral content her immediate visceral thought after impact could very well have been "he made me crash intentionally"
i personally don't believe he intentionally wanted her to hit the car ahead of them… although it *is* weird that the video doesn't start with him saying "nononoNONONO-" before impact. even if he was filming her, surely he would've seen the car ahead, right? anyways: inconclusive
all of this perfectly explains the "what does the [steering] wheel have to do with the brake?" exchange - he resents her blaming for the collision, as his only job was to steer. he couldn't have prevented the crash even if he'd tried, hence his defensiveness
the very last thing she says is "that's what i get for fuckin' listening to you" - which feel like really ties a bow on my theory here. it explains everything: where the idea came from, her hesitance to participate in the first place, etc. case closed! anyways thanks for reading
