the new ivysaur voice in smash is extremely creepy
i love how half the time Pokemon cries are like the sound of a bird shrieking but then other times it will just be an adult man perfectly enunciating the word "Venusaur"

It's really cool that they've kept the pokemon cries consistent in the main series games, but now in the current gen games you have two similar animals that either make a pretty realistic noise and the other is a compressed gameboy era BZZT
