anyone else find Sakurai's total inability to conceal his bias towards his own characters extremely charming? like... those really are his children, huh

Balancing in Ultimate was done entirely by the balancing team without Sakurai's in put on this one. The team was first brought in for Smash 4 but he had input that time.
hah, interesting! not talking about balance tho - more # of characters / narrative emphasis on kirby / etc. i don’t actually think any of his characters are particularly powerful in SSBU
