reinstalled Pokemon Go after 2 years to see whether it’s been improved at all and guess what: it’s still a rudderless, opaque, joyless mess :)

It is easy to dismiss something when you’re not partaking with the large community that is still playing it. They play mostly for the social aspect of it, especially on raids with high level Pokémon which takes some coordination to do. Same with games as Eve, WoW etc.
i genuinely find that aspect of it extremely appealing! it’s why i’m so frustrated that the game part of it isn’t more worthwhile
