so many odd, un-Nintendo choices with Rabbit Ridge Tower: 1. gating late-game content behind a mandatory boss rush 2. moon gravity is extremely unpleasant 3. inexplicably letting you heal between fights, but only with a long tedious walk back to the Odyssey

If I'm honest, the entirety of SMO is phenomenal potential that stumbles & fails to deliver at the last hurdle. The postgame even moreso. It feels like it SHOULD be the best Mario game, but it comes in at like.....10th best (which ain't bad since there are over 200 Mario games).
