💡People want government and business to change this. Our new survey finds strong support for even the most controversial policies, such as frequent flyer levies or higher prices for high-carbon goods, as well as high popularity of a "Green Homes One Stop Shop" or eco-labelling.

🍲The way we eat will need to change in order to meet the needs of the climate crisis. According to the National Food Strategy, we need to cut our average meat intake by 30% to reach net zero by 2050. 💡Taxes may provide an option for reaching this goal.

It is important to do more research on how to effectively communicate the health risks linked with tobacco smoking and e-cigarettes and to work with smokers to ensure that interventions involving e-cigarettes address their concerns. 🔍 A challenge for behavioural sciences!

No two policies are the same though and we found large differences in public support for different policy options. Support was highest for: 🚭 banning smoking in more public spaces, 💰increasing tax on all forms of tobacco, and 📈 increasing the legal age of sale of tobacco.
