How about John 3:36? 'Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.'

Christ is speaking to Jews under t/Law. His Earthly Ministry does not pertain 2t Body of Christ. That's why he called Saul/Paul 2b the Apostle to tGentiles & gave him stewardship of a new dispensation of the grace of God with its own Gospel. tChurch is Not Jewish or under tLaw.

That is very frightening. To reject the very words of our Lord, based on a novel - absolutely novel - tradition cooked up by anti-Catholics who can’t even get along with garden-variety Protestants.

I don't believe in tradition & facts are not novel. What don't you understand? Paul's words are Christ's words. 1 Corinthians 14:37 If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

Unless you can cite chapter & verse that explicitly nullifies all four Gospels, Hebrews, the Epistles from St. James and St. John, plus the Apocalypse, you have a tradition. If calling it “fact” helps you sleep at night, be very afraid.

I never said it nullified it. I said it didn't apply 2t body of Christ. Hebrews to Revelation is apocalyptic & written to Jews. It's their tribulation epistles. t4 Gospels are about Christ ministering to Jews in tOT under the law. Only Paul writes gentiles & it's strictly Grace.

Your tradition champions the KJV, famous for Words of Christ in Red. Your tradition says those Words in Red do not apply to you, or to me or to any other Gentile. Friend, I am sorry. You are caught in a trap. I want to help you but I don’t know how.

What don't you get about this? Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
