Then why ask this, instead of asking if they think they might have a high "merit" score? "Female or from a black or minority ethnic background?" You were either not truthful then, or now. Must be a mentally miserable place to work at with this doublespeak nonsense going on!

This are separate things. We can both encourage underrepresented groups to apply and review all those applications, from all people, based only on merit.
