The creator should be free to accept whatever "toxic" donations they want, instead of being punished for it. Also, people should be free to be "toxic" since words are objectively harmless and if the creator is fine with that even better

I’m sick of these social media companies and their demand the world follows their ideology. Sure people probably shouldn’t say some of the things they say but they do and will. If people can’t handle it don’t fucking watch it and go wrap themselves up in cotton wool somewhere.

Advertisers are free to make whatever unethical decisions they want. The only reason they got strict with ads was because of language policing nutjobs conspiring to find a way to cut off revenue from people they don't like to try and brute force cooperating with their bullshit

They would be fine with ads on ISIS propaganda if they didn't face consequences for it. Companies don't actually care. And since free speech is a thing in the US, language police threaten and attack the livelihood of those they can't censor conventionally

They withdrew because it became a controversy, and could potentially hurt their company, not because they actually care. And the fact that you defend a massive corporate private company that has more power than most governments' right to censorship, you are anti free speech

That fact that I never said anything remotely close to this is what's actually worrying. Censorship by private media companies IS legal, but when they are big enough to become a necessary part of life for so many people it SHOULD be regulated

Especially when it has been demonstrated that they absolutely abuse their power to control the political narrative. Google is absolutely massive, and they have too much money and power as it is. They shouldn't have complete control over what people see or say

Neither should Twitter, Facebook, or any other massive corporation. When I say these companies have more power than most governments, that is NOT an exaggeration in any capacity whatsoever
