Look, all I'm saying is that ugly, stupid, poor people should not be allowed to have children.

Agreed, if there's one thing we can take away from the worst defeat for Labour in 80 years it's that the Left is revived and on the rise once more.

The government has announced it will introduce emergency legislation to end automatic early release for terrorists. Fully 82% of Brits support such a measure, and 66% think it will significantly reduce the chances of further attacks

Labour members in Crouch End want to find a more "tabloid-style way" to speak to the Wurkin Class. This is a Private Eye Dave Spart send-up come to life.

European Commission very keen to shut down questions on negotiating mandate. The document has not been circulated, Barnier dodging and ducking questions on level playing field especially. Very poor

Jeez, this is my neck of the woods. LP so far removed from its roots it needs a "working-class section" and workshops to train its members how to talk to ordinary voters. Kill me now.

Been getting a few "Own it!" tweets over the past 24 hours. Fine. Some of us urged Remainers to accept May's deal. They refused. We then urged them to cut their own deal with her. They refused. We then urged them to back an indicative vote option. They refused. So yes. Own it.

1/4 An Islamist terrorist attack is never “senseless”. An Islamist attack is an attack on behalf of an ideology underpinned by religion. Negative emotions along with reasons for nurturing them are all harnessed with a distinct vision for a cause that seeks authority & power.

Early release schemes for ALL violent offenders should be abolished. If only the media would highlight ALL the deaths and injuries at the hands of offenders released on licence. Society would go bananas. Been saying this for years.

The rights of citizens to be protected from terrorists must, at all times, supersede any rights of terrorists. At the moment, it’s the other way round.

Sudesh Amman, the 20-year-old responsible for the attack in Streatham today, was jailed in December 2018 for 13 terror offences. I was there and recall Amman smiling as he was sentenced. He was released from prison around a week ago

Cracking scoop: Nissan drafts plan to double down on UK under hard Brexit. Japanese car maker would pull out of Europe but focus on 20% market share in Britain, up from 4%. Bad for Barcelona, good for Sunderland? via
