    Very interesting visit to this week, looking at C19th plants collected in Radnorshire lots of Vicia orobus (Wood Bitter Vetch) must have established very quickly along the railway line!

    Day 20 Native Mistletoe, Viscum album, woody parasitic shrub forming a spherical mass high up in a Wye Valley tree. Branching green stems bear narrow -elliptical leaves which are blunt & rounded at apex. Some sticky white berries may remain.
