Interesting. What's the driver version? I had some crazy bugs with an earlier rev

Hrm. Maybe consider updating the drivers? That's what fixed the hard hangs for my Win10 Insider with AC8260. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/75439/Intel-Dual-Band-Wireless-AC-7260 …

I will try again when I'm done w/ a month of traveling. Too risky to do now. I hate manually updating Intel drivers b/c of their extra BS.

(Though, it seems unlikely to be a driver issue given that Edge always immediately connects w/o trouble.)

When you say "hang" do you mean "Just doesn't load pages, but app otherwise fine" or do you mean "Renders the process unresponsive"?

The driver issue I had (possibly something around UDP handling/QUIC maybe?) only affected Chrome; IE/Edge worked okay.

FWIW, I also noticed that having many GMail tabs open (to same account) seems bad sometimes closing all GMail tabs helps Chrome function.

(This latter thing with many GMail tabs is a multi-year problem, and probably a separate thing.)
