I don't see why. There are basically no ways that SHA2 is better than either Keccak *or* BLAKE2, are there?

Sure there is: much faster and easier to get people to agree to use SHA-2 than either of the others.

Everything you do online depends on the security of SHA2. Using one of the other things is preparation for a post-apocalyptic world.

My goal is to support people building internet-wide solutions to real security problems. SHA-2 is generally the default for that.

No! The default is BLAKE2!

Seriously, BLAKE2 is the obvious choice. It is better studied than SHA2, has a better security margin, etc.
