@BRIAN_____ @fugueish you mean because US copyright law should change or that we should mark mixed as green?

@BRIAN_____@fugueish you only get mixed content if you preview a high res image from a 3p. Can't proxy it. the same for Bing etc -
@__apf__@brian_____@fugueish can you explain the security risk for viewing high res images from 3rd parties? -
@jwheare@BRIAN_____@fugueish they are over http -
@__apf__@brian_____@fugueish ok but what is the threat to users? -
@jwheare@BRIAN_____@fugueish all passv mixed content is treated the same (with a downgrade); browser can't tell when it is/isn't a problem -
@__apf__@brian_____@fugueish understood. i question claims that sites serving mixed content are exactly as insecure as non-https sites. -
@__apf__@brian_____@fugueish not opposed to a warning (proportional to the threat) but concerned about losing all trust from a false neg. -
@__apf__@brian_____@fugueish and i understand this is a design and user understanding issue, but all-or-nothing feels like a cop out.
