Shot during a cold winter night in Saudi,“CELESTIAL” features a world record of the most hot air balloons in a row orchestrated at the Winter at Tantora festival. I usually put myself in extreme environments all over the world to capture my work, and this was no different.

. I couldn't be more proud of how it turned out and how far I've come to get to this point.

Over the last couple months Ben coded a custom smart contract for “CELESTIAL” which was minted to our deployed contract this morning. Finally, phase 3 is complete.

So I sent Ben a message, and waited, and waited, and waited.. Months went by, I was so close yet my ability to bring this to life got seemingly more distant. Still I was persistent and after nearly 6 months I finally heard back from Ben agreeing to take on the development work.

I looked more into

and what he was doing with

and quickly realized I had found exactly who I was looking for. Someone paving the way for custom smart contract development and innovation.

I set out on a journey to find an answer and spent months searching relentlessly for someone that could help.. In the end all roads led me to a guy named “Ben Strauss.”

Now for the last and most difficult part of my journey, how to make this all possible from a technological standpoint? In theory it didn’t sound too complex, but at times I forget we are literally at the forefront of an emerging industry with completely new technology.

I still remember that feeling when I found out. The accomplishment! That feeling very much embodied the magic of life that I refer to and that this piece was built upon. Thus, phase 2 was complete.

Without a doubt

was that platform and around summer of 2021 I set out on a mission to join. However with the surplus of applicants, it became quite difficult to get on their radar..

This was phase 1 of bringing “CELESTIAL” to life and took up until a few weeks ago to finalize and “perfect.” Phase 2 involved getting onboarded to a sophisticated platform that favored quality over quantity, a structure that is reflective of my own ethos as a creative.

After ideation, I got to work bringing all 10 of the animations that make up this piece to life. Together they make up the 24 hours in a day with seamless time dependent changes based on wherever the holder is located.

Reminded of the magic that is out there every single day waiting to be experienced, waiting to be explored, waiting to be felt… That idea materialized into what is now “CELESTIAL” but that is just where the journey began..

Over time, if too much separation between us and that intangible occur, we naturally forget. That’s ok, we’re human.. Perfectly flawed, but perfectly capable. Sometimes we just get lost along the way. Sometimes we just need to be reminded!

A tangible reminder of the beauty and magic that is life to whoever holds it.” 🔮 So many of us lose touch with that magic, and I think one of the biggest reasons for that, is because is in many ways it’s intangible.

I brainstormed for weeks, then it hit me. “What if I created an NFT that acts as a portal to a parallel universe that exists alongside our very own? A parallel universe that is alive and evolving just like ours..

In early 2021, I watched the whole bull-run unfold, and instead of jumping right in like I heavily considered, I waited.. I waited because I decided that when I entered the space I wanted it to be special. Something unique.. Little did I know of the long journey ahead! 😅

No longer having to be tied to third parties to monetize is empowering and fundamentally disrupts the current ecosystem. Most importantly, it creates a dynamic that incentivizes creation, vs hindering it. This thought was the seed that sparked my initial interest in NFT’s. 💭

I’ve wanted to enter the world of NFT’s for quite some time.. As a creative you’re always trying to generate new revenue streams and what better way to do so than off your works intrinsic value as art?
