Everyone who starts a car today needs to remember that their contribution of CO2 will heat the Earth for 300+ years. So this heat will not end soon. Indeed, it may not end before Australia is too hot to sustain human life. Think about what you do, what you eat, what you buy.

How do you work out national average and one could disagree with the position on the hottest day on record.

Looks like the bom has finally worked out a way to fiddle the figures so they can scare more kids what a joke how far back do these average temps go I’d like to see them

I was in Sydney today where their average was recorded at 30 degrees while it was 45 degrees by my thermometer. In no way are they stretching things to make them look more hot than they are. It is an average.pic.twitter.com/xc7oYY1nOr

I was wearing a flanno yesterday morning as chilly. Coolest December I can remember. This hysteria is as credible as government unemployment statistics.

Oh right, because you’re far more credible than the BOM. My thermometer saying it’s 45 degrees and you can see many more in the replies.pic.twitter.com/HgolDiaYl7
