The CDC says a breakdown will be released on their website within the hour, but from our understanding right now it's: - 18 repatriated from cruise - 3 repatriated from Wuhan - 13 US cases Also: 10 repatriated from cruise were positive in Japan. Not sure if they'll be included

@BNODesk I think there’s a typo in your second notes bullet. Believe it should be weren’t known, or were unknown: Fourteen of them are U.S. citizens whose test results weren’t unknown until they were taken off the ship. -

So, the Japanese authorities released 18 Americans believing that they were not infected, when in fact they were. It's great that the Americans are quarantined, but Japanese nationals released from the ship are taking public transport to get to their homes! It's a disaster.

Actually, 14 were put on the plane back knowing they were tested positive for covid-19. I'm guessing these are an additional 18 on top of the existing 14 that returned?
