    Spend 1 minute in the company of a medieval manuscript & you’ll realise the real ‘magic’ of books. They’re time machines, individual voices frozen forever, repositories of lost stories & pockets of art. If you can’t make space for them in your life, what ARE you making space for?

    For here’s a favourite of mine, a 16th century ms bound using parchment waste 🎶 Bookbinders often used waste material. Discarded musical ms leaves are common as binding waste on books from the 16th & 17th centuries, just like this great example. Add Ms 48036
