What they did was wrong. Defacing and damaging those monuments is a crime and they need to be held accountable for actions. If they don’t like them they can lobby and protest to have the monuments removed.
Enough defacing monuments and being destructive. We are all Canadians and our history is our history. Things were different in the past and you learn from it, you don’t destroy it. I am against any kind of violence, but what BLM is doing is not acceptable anymore.
If you want to cause chaos and destroy property, you will@have to pay for the consequences. We live in a civilised society where we learn from the past and improve on it. All lives matter. What you did was not peaceful protest. Enough!!!
