  2. Due to flooding & freezing temperatures, visitors are urged to use caution when accessing the restrooms at James Kipp Rec Area. Large areas of ice & water surround the facilities. The restroom closest to the boat launch is the least icy, however the road to it is snow-covered.

  13. BLM MTDAKs Law Enforcement and Fire personnel are assisting in the search of a 16 yo girl missing in south central MT. Crow Tribal Member Selena Not Afraid has been missing since Jan 1. The BLM is working closely with the BIA who is leading this investigation.  (BLM Photos)

  15. Miles City Field Office fire staff busy at the Howrey Island Recreation Area piling trunks, limbs and debris from last summer's house-cleaning. Crews will put the torch to the piles once the conditions are right for a safe burn.
