just in terms of the sheer amount of influence he's got on some of (imo) the best rappers around rn (chief keef, young thug) plus tapes like chicken talk or burrprint 2 are straight up some of the best hip hop of the 2000's

I think a more direct and obvious source of influence who has clearly changed the game is Kanye West. 808s and his Bear Era work absolutely defined and set the stage for hip hop for years to come. More than Gucci Mane imo.
