So us creators got punished for not making family friendly / ad friendly content / now we are getting punished for making family friendly content....? This is ridiculous. Punishing the wrong people - not my job to babysit what someone else's kid watches - where's the parents?!?!

How are you being punished? You just won’t have comments. You’ll still get paid.

You have no idea how youtube works. Most views are generated by subscriptions, notifications and pay per view is much higher with personalised adds. These will disappear. This is going to put a lot of people of business and kids will be directed to adult content instead.
