Schools have gymnasiums, which have bathrooms/showers in close proximity for care providers to use. Just put down some subflooring to save the gym floor.
In response to @NYGovCuomo's and @NYCMayor's call for #COVID19 hospital overflow sites, my office has ID'ed a range of publicly-owned options in Brooklyn, and are still investigating privately-owned sites as well. Park those unused cruise ships at the terminal and retrofit the ventilation systems with anti-viral scrubbers. Hundreds of pre-plumbed rooms with electric and heat.

There are a number of empty cruise ships right now. While the idea of cruise ships might be jarring, it also makes sense. If the cruise industry leased their ships to the government it would solve two problems at the same time.

No, those don't have the ventilation needs of hospitals. They'd be like ice cube trays, filling with disease until it spills into adjacent areas.

@GovInslee said the same- once schools shut down they are perfect to use as quarantine sites, watching children of parents sick/quarantined, food distribution to those that need it.
